Radio Creations In Polymer Clay
Polymer Clay is a fascinating material. You can make almost anything with
it--even radios. Inspired by the Art Deco style that influenced many radio
cabinet styles in the 1930's, KizTone
radios are actual working radios built from recycled radio parts and
housed in polymer clay cabinets. Below are just a few examples of my
earliest efforts. Just about any, shape, color, and surface finished can
be reproduced. I have also developed a method of color printing onto the
clay surface--anything you can create on your computer screen can be
transferred to the clay surface.
Dimensions of the pink radio are 4.15" X 6.1" X 3.2" (H X W X D). All radios are built to this approximate scale. Please Stay Tuned!
